Well-being

The well-being of learners is an important aspect of keeping a balanced life for the students to emphasize the development of the whole person—intellectually, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

PSPE

Personal, Social, and Physical Education

These three pillars of Identity, Active Learning, and Interaction are important in shaping our students' well-being.

We encourage students to understand, that their behavior/attitudes could be able to influence or impact other people, living things, and the environment. So, they are responsible for the actions or movements they make.

As a strategy to foster the mission to shape the well-being of our students, we create different approaches to meet the student's expectations.

Holistic Program Islamic Studies Community Engagement

We have piloted a Holistic Program to engage students in learning experiences that are more enjoyable, flexible, and meaningful.

The daily 60-minute program for Grade 2 to Grade 10 encourages students to explore their interests and express themselves in multiple settings such as sports, visual arts, dance and movements, linguistics, nature, and religion (Islamic studies).

We believe, that Islam is not only about religious practicality. The way we learn Islam is to read, understand, and act. Students learn the Quran's values in various ways.

  1. Through a series of discussion
  2. Understanding the Quran verse
  3. Research using various resources

The student's social and emotional development enhances their lives in society and ensures their well-being. Through a series of involvement in society from the PYP with their actions, MYP with their service as action, and CP with their service learning allow us to remove barriers between students and societies; which shape an engagement in both parties.
