Learn MoreThe exhibition is the culminating, collaborative experience in the final year of the IB Primary Years Programme. Grade 5 students explore, document, and share their understanding of an issue or opportunity of personal significance.
By collaborating with Mentors, family, and wider community, sudents execute their research process through the eight cycle of the PYP Exhibition which are
(1) learning through inquiry,
(2) demonstrations of learner profiles,
(3) utilizing ATL skills,
(4) collaboration to plan learning and teaching,
(5) setting learning goals and success criteria,
(6) reflection upon and modificatoon of inquiry,
(7) considering action on learning, and
(8) self-assessment.
In the PYP, learning is viewed as a continuous journey, where assessment data is used to plan the next stage of their learning. The exhibition, represents a unique and significant opportunity for students to exhibit the attributes of the IB learner profile developed throughout their engagement with the PYP.
